DES Star Ratings provide a comparative assessment of the performance of DES Provider sites for the three years to the end of the Star Ratings period. Stars are allocated in a range from 1 to 5 with 5 being the best performance. Sites with a rating of ‘Insufficient Data’ or ‘New Site’ have insufficient data or have not been operating for the minimum amount of time for a rating to be issued. These ratings should not be taken as an indication of poor performance.
